Operations Manager

The Operations Manager plays a very significant role in our small, dynamic organization assuring our manufacturing business operates in the most efficient and productive ways. You will be exposed to all aspects of running and growing a snowsports manufacturing business. Key to this role is the ability to collaboratively problem solve; innovate and develop processes that streamline production, fulfillment, and grow our business. A perfect candidate should have analytical and practical skills, but most importantly, a strong work/play ethic and willingness to adapt, learn, and collaborate. This position can grow into a General Manager with profit sharing and ownership potential.
As a winter snowsports company, we are busiest from September to May and then have more flexibility and lighter hours in the off-season which can translate into a four-day workweek with Fridays off. Working hours are somewhat flexible as we are a results-oriented workplace, and include Powder Hours (6”+ reported) to ride until noon before starting work. Much of the work must be done in the Edwards Commercial Park shop, but remote work is possible, especially during the late spring and summer.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing order fulfillment and shipping (and OPS Assistant/Gear Guru position)
- Supplier relationships and development
- Purchasing and receiving of parts and products
- Inventory management - physical and online.
- Receiving Inspections (measuring dimensions on parts)
- Manufacturing (management of workflow and seasonal assemblers)
- Quality Assurance of finished goods (final inspections)
- Website maintenance
- Sales and Marketing support
- Product design and development support
- Bookkeeping in Quickbooks related to these duties
We are looking for:

- QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 DOE

We’re looking for a hands-on, all-around badass to join Bishop Telemark in a key support role that helps keep our small-but-mighty ski company running smoothly. From shipping gear to assembling bindings, you'll get your hands on almost every part of the business—and skis.
This is an awesome opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a close-knit crew, contribute meaningfully, and still have time to chase powder days and summer trails.
What You’ll Do
Fulfillment & Shipping
- Pick, pack, label, and ship customer and dealer orders
- Mount our legendary Telemark bindings on skis

Work with our Shopify and Ops team to solve order hiccups fast
Assembly & Manufacturing
- Help assemble bindings with precision and care
- Assist with warranty and return repairs

Rebuild, test, and document product fixes
Inventory & Admin Support
- Keep our back shop organized
- Perform physical inventory counts
- Input weekly sales orders from Shopify into QuickBooks
The role could flex into Customer Service/Sales with the right person
- Email and limited phone support
- Support: Resolve customer issues by clarifying complaints, determining causes, explaining solutions, expediting corrections, and ensuring resolution.
- In person shop sales
What You Get
- Hourly wage: $24-27/hour (DOE)
- Powder Hours – Yup, you read that right. If Vail or Beaver Creek gets 6+ inches overnight, you don’t start work ‘til noon. Go ski.
- Seasonal flexibility: 20–30 hours/week(Daytime hours), heavier in winter (Sept–Mar), lighter in summer (May–Aug). Take extended breaks during the off-season.
- Will be eligible to work your own hours(within reason), minimum 3 days per week
