These are my favorite skis for tele turns now. I spend less effort with every turn on these skis which makes for more fun and I feel like I am becoming a better skier on them.

If you are hesitant to make this once in a lifetime purchase, you are preventing yourself from eternal joy. The Chedi with the BMF3 conquers any thing you put in its way. Hard pack ice the first day of turns, powder 10” on day two. Mix of leftovers powder and cords- sang like a bird. Quickies in the trees and bumps - flawless. Season all this with best in class service, you will be psyched ever time you get the opportunity to hit the mountain.

The Chedis will do what ever you want, from tight quick turns to long smooth carved turns. Just ask them and you shall receive! I've been tele skiing since the early 1980's and these skis are simply amazing! I've set these up with Inwild Meidjo bindings and I'm in heaven!

These are fantastic all mountain Tele skis. They have the rigidity and edge to really note into the carve. The flex to float through and link up turns is smooth. They manage my 22design bindings incredibly well. They are also wide enough to surf the pow. As they are “built for the down” I don’t think they’d be my first pick as a climbing ski, but that’s not how I use them.
All in all, I would absolutely recommend them as a western all mountain resort ski, even if you do the occasional up.

These things rip. Super playful ski that handles all types of conditions. Even though they have a pretty long turn radius, they ski much shorter when you need to make quick lead changes in tighter technical areas. Camber under foot is great and they handle great in the deeper stuff. On the east coast we get a lot of hard packed groomers and ice and these things can handle it even being slightly wider underfoot. Absolutely love these things.

Super cute surface art, sexy hardware (BMF 3), elegant, interesting telemark setup for discerning skiers. There's room in the heel for some DIN standard releasability I think, to avoid knee injuries. But.. love it. Should offer it with Ski-Mojo Exoskeleton :-)

I purchased Chedi skis,184cm with BMF/3, 75mm bindings. This is the best telemark setup I've ever had! I was looking for frontside skis that could handle hard, fast snow, and got just what I was looking for. Yes, the bindings/springs are stiff, and I ordered and installed the "softer springs", which were a perfect adjustment. Mounting the bindings and installing the new springs were very easy, and the online videos helped.

For comparison, I'm 72 years old, 6ft, 175lbs, and have been telemarking for 20 years. Gotta love Bishop!

This ski is so responsive and effortlessly turns. I’m not working nearly as hard as I had to on my old skis. The Chedi makes me a feel ten years younger. A true time machine!

Love the camber. These skis do it all…powder, ice, crust, slush, gunk, crud, bumps. Very responsive tail and a shovel that just goes. I have Axl’s mounted and drive em with t1’s. This is a Telemark ski.

First timer on Bishop skis, it is a great ski. First day was a foot of pow which got a little heavy at the bottom of th mtn. The Chedi's skied great. Awsome turns in the tight trees and no chatter on the firm. 38 years of telemark.

I went with the 184s, and it took me a few days to adapt to the longer skis (5’10, 180). But adapt I have, AND LOVING IT. Wonderfully stable at speed, and a little stiffer than my Enforcers, they nonetheless perform well in the bumps, powder, and on groomers. I went with the BMF/3, with 75mm toe, so I wouldn’t need new boots. Very happy. Thank all at Bishop for their excellent service, and answering all my questions. The online videos are excellent as well.

tried some demos. Started out with some skitter but as I got used to them it just got better ... Ended up doing 27K vert and added a 2nd day, did another 30K.

By the time I was done on the second day, I was sold. Ended up buying a pair for me and a pair for my wife. Haven't looked back.

Very happy with my Chedi choice, with BMF/R even better. Only been skiing hard pack, ice, and corn so far, and I was very happy with them. I'm sure they will shine even more when we get some soft stuff.

UPS had damaged my new skis.
Replacement skis were shipped right away, and they're beautiful. The bindings are also life changing.

Best outdoor gear I've ever bought.

East coast skier here with a downhill alpine racing background; I’ve been skiing for almost as long as I could walk. I initially picked up telemark skiing in college to try something new and haven’t looked back!

I made the switch to NTN with a used pair of Rottafella Freerides which had much more spring and energy in the transitions compared to the traditional 75mm beater set I had been using. Unfortunately while skiing out west, I snapped the baseplate off of the ski after a tumble. I turned on my ADHD superpowers and did extensive research on a new pair of telemark skis and bindings.

Enter Bishop! I ended up going with the Chedi as I will mostly be doing east coast skiing, but want the flexibility to take it steep and deep. I have friends with uphill setups that venture in the backcountry, so I went with the BMF-R for the flexibility, though currently I mostly do resort skiing. From the moment I opened the box, I knew these bindings were special. These bindings are hefty, rigid, and badass! I left the spring-stiffness as-is and took them out the next day.

The bindings pair perfectly with the Chedi and the stiffness is in between the Freerides and a traditional 75mm. Super easy to step-in and out of (I use the handle of my pole to not scratch the aluminum). I felt like I could charge and carve with parallel race turns (“Paramark”, I’ve been told) and drop the knee at speed to carve with 100% torsional stability. I felt locked in. The weight and stiffness reminded me of a pair of race skis with a titanium race plate. The Chedis were stable at high speeds and will respond, carve, and stay on-edge if you put your weight into the turn. Hands-down these are the most fun I’ve had on the mountain on telemark skis!

Haven’t tried in anything deep yet, but I’m looking for any excuse to get out and ski these again, so I’m sure it won’t be long.

The Bishop Telemark bindings are bomber! They are indeed true step in bindings. The adjustable spring tension of these bindings are awesome! I started with them on setting 1 (out of 4), I then set them up to 2 and love the feel there. They have great feel when dropping a knee. When the terrain or snow is questionable, these bindings can be skied as if they are alpine with total control. I have not fallen with these skis yet so I can not speak to the releasability of the bindings.

I finally skied my new Chedis with the BMF/R 75s and was nearly able to keep up with my kids in the steep stuff on their alpine junk. I’m jazzed to try them out in the deep, steep pow! Thanks for the awesome setup along with outstanding service.

I am an advanced tele skier and ski 35-45 days a year, I have never alpine skied. I've had 4 early season days on my new Chedi skis and ski them with 22Designs Outlaw bindings, definitely not enough time for a full report on how the skis perform in all conditions and terrain, but so far they have performed really well and I would recommend them for others based on my experience with them.
In the trees and bumps the skis are very agile, and want to turn as though they expect it (Trees and Bumps = 9/10).
They are pretty stable at speed and help make groomers enjoyable. (Groomers = 8/10)
That said, they are going to take some time to get used to on really steep and cruddy conditions (that many tele skiers would avoid anyway). (very steep technical crud = Tentative 6.5/10 because maybe I need to dial in how to ski them, again only 4 days on them so far).
Unfortunately I haven't had the pow days to say much about them (Pow = can't wait to find out)
I will see if I can update this review at the end of the season for a more comprehensive assessment.

Finally able to rip on the Chedis with BMR/Rs and the 2025 TX Pro and I couldn't be happier with the setup! Still getting dialed in and waiting for help from mother nature, but these skis and the bindings live up to the hype. Love the playfulness of the skis and the solid connection between boot and binding. Well done, Bishop! If you're on the decision fence, just take the leap, you won't regret these skis.

They ride and feel excellent, and they look amazing. However, the top sheet is of very poor quality.

I've now skied the Chedis on hardpack and deep pow and am banging my head wondering why I didn't buy these years ago. I went from a rear mounted big rocker tip with much less underfoot camber to a more confident, faster, and versatile ski. I adore the additional sidecut and the playfulness of the camber I feel in transition. Pretty excited to do more touring into different snow types to see what it's limitations are but it's literally perfect for my style of skiing (fast, aggressive turns) Haven't dove deep into Bishops binding since I already have a pair of outlaws but will give it a go with a demo this winter.
