BMF Softer Spring Kit

The standard springs are awesome, so stable. But I am switching between three different sets of skis/bindings and wanted to make the bishops feel closer to my Axls or 01s. They are still more stable, but the flex is much easier.

I'm no delicate petal, but also not, you know, a dude. At 155 lbs the soft springs took my bindings from 'shit, I think I've wasted AU$1300' to 'yeah I reckon these are gonna rip'

Comming off years of the G3 and 22 Designs binding, I found I needed a new SOFT spring. This is my first time with the NTN system, and I am now a convert. Expecting the a new NTN set up to feel like a 15 year old 75mm set up was foolish, but I hated the NTN at first. With the softer spring, and a few days on the new set up, I can honestly say it's worth the change.

At 145 lbs. I was struggling with the stock springs. The softy springs fixed all issues. I can now ski like I have for 30 years. Thank you to all of the Bishop team for manufacturing a binding that is "bomber" and still has feel.

I’m a lighter weight skier and typically drop lower than many, the softer springs were perfect for me to dial in to a sweet spot. I carried a small screw driver with me and tightened my springs each run until I saw that the chicks on the lift were most impressed at my feats of strength and grace.

Works great, I moved from Hammerheads to the BMF/R's (75mm) and found them to be a little bit stiff. The softer springs brought back the feeling that I had on the older bindings.

So much fun! Great step in binding. Great days on hill! Soft springs are perfect for me (age 61). Chedis are nice and responsive

I found the bishop's to be a bit too powerful for my T1's and my age, so I bought the softer spring kit and it turned to be just what I needed. I suppose I could have bought a pair of T2's, but this was a lot cheaper.

Bishop is fantastic, but the spring is just too stiff for my style and age. I hope you come out with a softer spring this offseason. I’m in if you do.

Quick and easy install on my new Chedi’s with 75mm Stealth bindings and T2 boots. The difference was immediate. Thanks for the smooth transition and a little less lateral torque on the knees to flex.

Easy installation and great overall design but to me the springs barely felt any different from the standard ones. I want so bad to love these bindings but I just can't get the same feel as I get with Hammerheads or the Vice in position one. I have the adjustment screws as loose as they go.

The softer springs really made a big difference for me. I can bend my knees easily and get low in the telemark position with them. Game changer for me.

Standard springs were very stiff - I live on the lighter side at 140# so I had a tough time getting some knee bend on the standards. The Soft Springs are closer to my older Voile bindings. It seems they softened a bit after the first day or two as well. Makes a huge difference!

Will STIFFER springs be available? I'm 260# and feel like I could use a bit more resistance. How long should springs last before they get too soft?

Agreed, they are softer but still so, so stiff. The 3 is more for the overall skiability of the binding versus the spring itself. The team here is great and they got me the spring quickly but the bindings, IMO, need to be over-hauled. I guarantee I don't have any novel ideas but have already purchased a different binding.
