I visited the Bishop tent on back to back days at the Keystone demo days in early March this year (2026). I skied both the Gonzo and Chedi skies, light springs on the Gonzo and regular springs on the Chedi. I found the Gonzo to be too quick for me, I’m more of a cruiser. The Chedi and firmer springs really allowed me to load up the rear ski and enjoy a long turn. When the Chedi demo setup became available at the end of the season I ordered the Chedi 174 with BMF/R bindings. Based on my demo, I also ordered a second set of springs so I can compare the firmer and softer springs this coming season. The spring firmness really changes the feeling of the bindings. There was a bit of confusion with my spring order, but Bishop solved the problem. I’m excited to spend some time dialing in the new setup this coming year, thank you Bishop.
I got exactly what I wanted. Great skis and bindings at a great price. I can't wait for it to snow! I emailed their customer service about switching the toe pieces (75mm) and they responded immediately with instructions. My first tele season on equipment that is from this decade. Stoked!
If it was my company I would set my price point on used equipment to include detailed inspection and end of season maintenance instead of what appears to me ti be a lack of pride. I expect the equipment to be used but they should be ready for the next season. Mine had battered edges, some rust, light corrosion on the bindings and burs on the top sheet edges. None of those are a deal breaker. They took me maybe a half an hour to ready them. I feel they should have shown up with that little bit of TLC.
