First day today, these bindings are awesome! What took me so long to discover them?

I don't often post reviews , but in this case, it's necessary. First off, i know they're not cheap. However, these are by far the best telemark bindings ever produced! The power transfer compared to all other NTN bindings is off the charts. Such a consistent and smooth flex pattern. I was doubtful they were worth it, but they are. Step in step out is easy, and they look like they are built to last. Just do it !

Having spent the last 30 years skiing leather lace ups and cable bindings of various sorts, I thought It was time to upgrade.
After numerous emails with Kate, she guided me patiently and informatively towards my eventual purchase.
New skis, new boots and a pair of Bishop NTN BMF3’s to step into…
Just had a week in Austria and I have to ask myself, why did I wait so long to upgrade?
The BMF3 is a fine, sturdy, well designed Telemark binding that should smash competition out of the snow.
The sheer convenience is sublime, step in, step out. No bending to fiddle with leashes and cables etc.
The feeling when turning is instant and stable, allowing outstanding grip and feedback when genuflecting. With 4 spring tension settings that should accommodate most Tele skiers abilities.
On piste or in chopped crudy off piste, they perform with such precision you will feel full confidence on any terrain.
I am absolutely thrilled I found Bishop. I am most definitely a Badassery convert!
I strongly recommend that anyone thinking of upgrading, give Bishop your fullest attention, they are simply…outstanding!

Just upgraded my resort tele setup with a set of Mantra M6s and BMF/3s (and 75mm). Totally happy.
The step-in convenience is fabulous, lateral stiffness a revelation, and the progressive flex works really well.
I have skied tele since the 80's and have Hammerheads and Axels on my other rigs. I was concerns the stiffer flex might be a problem, but I left the springs at the lowest setting and (after 9 days in variable conditions) I don't feel the need to buy the softer springs. The spring action is smoother and more progressive.
I'd also second comments about comfort, usually after skiing the lifts I get a little soreness at the front of my shin, but didn't get this at all.
Make sure you get the length adjustment right, and watch the plastic sleeve on the brakes doesn't get pulled off when you separate the skis. Awesome!

Earlier this season one my BMF/3s suffered from metal fatigue and failed. I have skied these bindings hard since my purchase in 2018 and, while disappointed with the interruption of my season, was not surprised given the demands I place on them turn after turn. I ask these bindings to be precise in edging and to deliver power as I transition from edge to edge- and they deliver both with elan. These BMF/3s have been the finest, absolute finest binding I have ever skied and I was eager to get back on my boards. After exchanging emails with Kate, I boxed the bindings and waited for the magic to happen. They turned the bindings around very quickly and when they arrived home, they were greased and as good as out-of-the-box new. I couldn't be more happy with Bishop's warranty, service, and the performance of my BMF/3s as I completed the season. Their step-in design convenience coupled with the power and precision you feel with every low lunge will lead you to conclude as I have that Bishop makes the best tele binding on the planet.
